We do not disconnect cookers or white goods. Prior to the move date, these appliances should be disconnected by a qualified engineer.

How long does packing take?
Packing time varies depending on the size of the property and the amount of belongings. Typically, packing a full house can take anywhere between 2 to 10 hours.
Do you provide storage?
No, we do not provide storage facilities. However, we can recommend Big Yellow Storage in Croydon.
Do you provide packing materials?
We provide packing materials only if we are also providing a packing service.
When do you pack?
Ideally, packing is done the day before the removal date. However, we understand that this may not always be convenient for everyone, so we can arrange packing on an earlier date if needed.
What if I've paid a deposit and my move date has changed?
We will make every effort to accommodate your new move date. If we can’t accommodate the change and you lose your deposit, no extra charges will be incurred for date changes.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are insured for up to £50,000 for Goods in Transit and have Public Liability cover up to £1 million.
Do you charge waiting time?
Yes, we charge an hourly rate based on the number of men on the job.
Who is responsible for parking permits and ensuring access to the moving property?
Parking permits and/or ensuring access directly outside the moving property are the client’s responsibility.
Can you take away rubbish and unwanted items when we move? There are items we don't want to take with us?
Yes, we can provide a clearance service either on the same day or before the removal date. Typically, we prefer to complete clearances before the move date so that we can focus entirely on the move itself. This ensures a smoother process for both you and us, allowing us to give each task the attention it deserves. Additionally, any usable items that you no longer want will be donated to charity as part of our commitment to sustainability and community support.
